Review of Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical Mouse
This old thing has just kept going and going. Whilst newer snazzier MS mice have arrived and died, this thing was build when MS cared about product longevity.
It is a wired USB/PS2 optical mouse with scroll-wheel (and middle-click) and four side buttons.
Very comfortable during either left or right handed use. One huge advantage over all recent MS mice is that you know when you've properly middle-clicked on the wheel. This is how I open many many Firefox tabs when clicking on URLs and is a critical feature of any modern mouse.
I'll keep using it until it dies.
